| Special Equipment Financing Terms for WEVA Members Thru April 30
February 26, 2007
Sarasota, FL - In continuing to develop new membership advantages, Wedding & Event Videographers Association International (WEVA) has announced special equipment financing terms have been arranged for WEVA members by Independent Leasing Associates (ILA) through April 30. By working with an increased number of lenders, ILA is offering WEVA members the ability to obtain equipment and accessories they need now and delay the start of regular term payments while the equipment is integrated into production.
"The new WII-FM (What's In It for Me) equipment financing program has been created exclusively for WEVA members, many of whom have been asking for additional financing options during this HD transition period," said Dan Argenas, WEVA Director of Association Communications. "ILA's new deferred financing terms allow WEVA members to obtain brand new hardware/software, time to learn how to use it, and the ability to amass substantial revenues before having to start regular payments. The special deferred financing terms are in effect now through April 30, 2007.
According to ILA president Bob Bell, the terms of the new program are to blend six $99 contact payments into the agreement term with the first 6 months being only the $99 contact payments, with financing terms extending to 36, 48, or 60 months (or longer).
The standard $200 documentation fee has been reduced 50% to $100 for WEVA members until April 30, and members may select the payment term that best fits their budget. They then complete the agreement and make the first payment of $99 plus a $99 security deposit, and the $100 documentation fee.
"The initial, total out-of-pocket cost regardless of the size of the transaction is only $298 with the additional 5 monthly contact payments of $99, followed by the remaining regular term payments. It means during that six-month period of low payments, your equipment purchases are helping you grow your business," Bell said.
"The special new promotion has been designed for WEVA members based on their input, and we at ILA think it's an excellent concept," Bell added. "You see other industries in the retail world taking advantage of 'deferred payment plans' that help small business owners bring their expenses in line and take advantage of extra purchasing power. WEVA members asked to have deferred financing as an option for their videography businesses, and we are pleased to say it's now available."
