|ABC Dialogue Spotlights WEVA Bridal Survey Results
October 24, 2003
Sarasota, FL - The new issue of ABC Dialogue, the journal of the Association of Bridal Consultants, features results of WEVA International’s recent nationwide survey of brides and their opinions regarding the value of professional wedding videography. The survey results, showing professional videography is rapidly becoming a preferred medium for preserving wedding memories, are highlighted in the publication, which is read by over 3,600 bridal consultants and industry suppliers.
Also featured in the same issue is an article by Illinois videographer Kris Malandruccolo of Elegant Weddings by Kris (Carol Stream, IL), which highlights the ABC’s participation in WEVA EXPO 2003. Malandruccolo is a member of both associations.
Gerard and Eileen Monaghan, the top two ABC executives, represented the ABC at the WEVA EXPO Trade Show. EXPO attendees also learned new insights at the special EXPO seminar presented by Eileen Monaghan entitled, “Closing the Sale: Thinking Like A Bride.”
Networking between the two trade associations will be propelled further at the ABC’s upcoming national convention for professional bridal consultants, where WEVA International's Media Relations Director Steve Wernick has been invited to present a seminar entitled, “Video–Vivid & Vital.” The seminar, said Wernick “will spotlight new trends in professional wedding videography and provide information on digital video technology, including the rapid emergence of weddings on DVD.” WEVA International will also have a trade show booth at the ABC convention, which will be held November 9-11, 2003 in Kansas City, MO.
“We’re excited by the networking that is increasing between WEVA and the ABC,” said WEVA International Chairman Roy Chapman, “and we’re looking forward to discussing the new changes and new trends in wedding videography with professional bridal consultants nationwide at the upcoming ABC convention.”
