PMA and WEVA have teamed to present outstanding education for professional wedding and event videographers at PMA-Australia 2007, opening this week at the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre. WEVA members worldwide are already in-transit to Melbourne!

You can register on-site to attend this worldwide “industry-first” in international education for wedding and event videographers. Bring your completed registration form with you or fill out the form on-site in Melbourne. On-site registration at the Melbourne Convention Centre will be open during the following hours:

Both beginner and seasoned wedding and event video professionals will benefit from the education provided at the PMA Australia 2007 Imaging Technology Expo. On Day One (May 3), educational programming developed by WEVA will benefit both the beginner and the seasoned wedding and event video professional. The morning sessions will reveal new techniques for producing a wedding day story that is emotionally moving and compelling to watch. Videographers will see and learn the key elements of ceremony and reception video necessary to produce a heartfelt wedding story.
In the afternoon, videographers will learn state-of-the-art creativity for capturing "WOW! Shots" in sessions presented by WEVA Creative Excellence Award-winning videographers, and then see how to add cinematic style and flair to wedding videos in order to gain the competitive-edge in their markets. WEVA seminars will wrap up with a power-packed sales and marketing session designed to enable videographers to boost sales – and referrals – no matter how much video experience they may already have.
Day Two (May 4) will offer system-specific training and techniques from leading wedding and event videographers using products from Adobe, Canopus, Matrox, and Glidecam. Attendance for these system-training workshops is limited to allow for greater interaction between presenters and attendees, and time for Q&A.
